Try your hand at simple stitching techniques that can repair, revive, and refashion the clothes and woven textiles in your life. This will be a virtual demonstration of hand stitching techniques for mending and patchwork, including a walkthrough of making a soft cloth patchwork pouch.

No prior experience is necessary. This is a free offering sponsored by Fibershed intended to inspire a commitment to keeping textiles in use, as mended clothes or as scrap-based projects.
Heidi will walk us through the steps of selecting materials, learning basic stitches with a needle and thread, patching a garment, and assembling a patchwork pouch, and there will be a moderated Q&A.
