The Honey Folk Textile Vessel is a pattern I designed on my birthday in 2021 after going for a 3-hour walk and gathering plants, bones, and pretty stones. When I got back to my studio, I wanted to create a small vessel to put tiny treasures in. In celebration of my birthday in 2022, I decided to publish it, so everyone can make something to keep their tiny treasures in.

This pattern is fully illustrated and gives step-by-step instructions on how to make the Honey Folk Textile Vessel. It includes how to create the Spiderweb stitch meditation on the bottom as an option.

Handwork has always been my go-to when I need to feel calm and grounded. When we evacuated from our tiny forest in Sonoma County to San Fransisco during the 2019 fires I spent my days sitting on my friend’s couch mending their clothes and drinking tea. It made my heart happy in a really scary time.
